Historical Figures of the 1890's

Who were the big historical figures in the 1890’s United States, and what accomplishments are they known for? How do Tesla and Edison fit into this age? J.P Morgan, Rockefeller and Carnegie were the most important figures in the 1890's. J.P Morgan was known for his business style, excessive wealth, and loaning the government butt loads of cash$$$$. Rockefeller was known for his railways, however more importantly his oil, and discovery of gasoline. Carnegie is known for his steel production. Westing house is another important figure. He was tied to Tesla, and fought for a contract with J.P Morgan, who was tied to Edison.
