What’s the difference between a game, a puzzle and a toy? A game is something that you play, and often relies on the interaction of another player, whether it be the computer or another player. Puzzles are problems that you attempt to solve. Puzzles don't have the same objective types, they rely on a single player solving problems rather than a group, however groups may still be possible in puzzle interaction. Toys are objects that you interact with. There aren't objectives with toy. Yah.

Historical Figures of the 1890's

Who were the big historical figures in the 1890’s United States, and what accomplishments are they known for? How do Tesla and Edison fit into this age? J.P Morgan, Rockefeller and Carnegie were the most important figures in the 1890's. J.P Morgan was known for his business style, excessive wealth, and loaning the government butt loads of cash$$$$. Rockefeller was known for his railways, however more importantly his oil, and discovery of gasoline. Carnegie is known for his steel production. Westing house is another important figure. He was tied to Tesla, and fought for a contract with J.P Morgan, who was tied to Edison.

FUNCTIONS

What is a function? A function is a piece of code that does stuff. Its like the printf command yo. When you use it, it does stuff. Like print something to the screen. That kind of stuff. What do they look like in code? like printf or scanf or stuff yo. How do you write a function and use one? First you declare the function using variables and stuff. Then you use the function in the code, and then you initialize the function below the main body. Cause its cool. Provide an example of a function you’ve recently written or used. LIFE INFLUENCE

Id have to say that my own life has been a huge influence on my life. I'm not one to take the influence of others down upon myself, so I look at myself, and how I've done so far and take that into consideration. My life has had a huge influence on my life because It was lived by me. The influence of my life has really made me who I am, and I have to take in all the things that have happened because It makes me a better person.

FIFA Review

In the article, he states that “FIFA 14 is a confident step forward rather than a bold reinvention”. Can you provide a contrasting example of a game that is a bold reinvention, and explain why you think it is a good example?

Id say a game like Warcraft III Reign of Chaos is the type of game that set up a revolution for many more to come. The original Warcraft games were ok, however they lacked the artistic/ graphical design, as well as major game-play components. Warcraft III Reign of Chaos really took RTS gaming a step further, and introduced one of the best looking, and strategical games to the market. Even though it is 11 years old, it made the way for other real time strategies to become so prominent on the gaming market.

Binary

How can you convert from binary to decimal, and from decimal to binary?

If I'm converting from binary to decimal, I look at all the numbers, and find patterns.
Lets say I'm converting the binary number 100111, I know the pattern 111 to be a decimal 7. After I find these patterns, I add them with the rest of the numbers. When I'm converting from decimal to binary I start with the largest number first. For example, if I have the number 134, I would start with the binary value of 128, and then go smaller. 10000110.

#include <stdio.h>  is the line of code that tells the compiler to include certain pre-written libraries in your program. This way, the library of functions such as printf do not have to be defined every-time you make a new project.

Solving Problems VIA Video Games

     A problem that concerns many people is communication. Whether it be between friends or family, or between you and a teacher/coworker, communication is a topic that many people struggle with. Video games have changed the way I communicate with people. Because online gaming requires so much cooperation between individuals, communication is the key to successful gaming. A game that relies solely on the cooperation between multiple individuals to do well would surely solve this problem, and it would inspire players to work together to accomplish their common goals.
